The Ann Arbor-Detroit Innovation Corridor connects six of Michigan's leading innovation districts to leverage shared talent-and technology-based assets to strengthen economic prosperity and global competitiveness.

Ann Arbor and Detroit are two hubs that connect a corridor that is comprised of many innovation assets.

The Case for a Detroit-Ann Arbor Innovation Corridor

Creative Class Group Founder Richard Florida spearheaded a report highlighting the need for an Ann Arbor-Detroit Innovation Corridor. Commissioned by the Detroit Regional Chamber and the University of Michigan, the study reveals that few places are better positioned to capitalize on breakthrough new technologies such as advanced mobility and artificial intelligence.
